Stuart Bruck

Principal and Co-Founder

 

Stuart has a broad and innovative management and corporate finance background with over 30 years of operating experience and leadership, serving in key executive, governance and advisory positions in public and private healthcare and technology growth companies. 

 

He is known for his ability to expand companies in the US and other key markets into cash-generative businesses by developing and executing creative, effective business structures. As an operator, he is expert in the inner workings of healthcare providers, organizations, systems, regulations, marketing, sales and reimbursement. He also co-founded and chaired a digital advertising company that pioneered the use of AI in that industry.  

 

He has developed a variety of successful healthcare and technology companies, listing several of them on public markets, creating substantial value for company founders, principals and investors. He has served as a consultant, senior executive, CEO and chairman of companies in the US and UK, having advised and led senior management teams in a variety of public company listings, earning substantial financial returns for investors and executing successful trade sale exits.

 

Stuart was CEO of a London-based listed medical and dental company that was successfully sold to the largest health insurer in the UK.  He also developed a significant healthcare services company in Australia that was sold to a leading healthcare and logistics company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. He founded and served as Chairman of a US/UK-based private equity company listed in London.

John May

Principal and Co-Founder

In addition to his role as Principal at Outsize Capital, John May is a founder of City & Westminster Corporate Finance LLP and is its Managing Partner. He is a Chartered Accountant by trade with vast experience in both private and public sector markets. He has been a director of many such companies.

 

John was Finance Director of AIM listed, Security Research Group Plc, until December 2005 and Tomco Energy Plc until July 2011. Also in AIM he was a Non-Executive Director of Petrolatina Energy Plc until March 2012, Non-Executive Chairman of Hayward Tyler Group Plc until it was bought by Avingtrans Plc in 2018 and was a non-executive of Pires Investments Plc until 2024.

 

John is also Chairman of the Genesis Initiative Limited, a lobbying group for SMEs to the UK Parliament. It has over one million members within its 117 trade associations.

Ken Denos

Principal and Co-Founder

In addition to his role as Principal at Outsize Capital, since June 2005 Ken has been an officer and director of Equus Total Return, Inc. (NYSE: EQS), a closed-end fund traded on the New York Stock Exchange, serving as its President and CEO from 2007-09. He is also the founder and Chairman of Kenneth I. Denos P.C., a US-based corporate and consumer law firm. 

 

Previously, Ken was the CEO of MCC Global NV, a Frankfurt stock exchange listed investment advisory firm based in London, and also served as a director and executive officer of two London Stock Exchange listed firms, Healthcare Enterprise Group plc and Tersus Energy plc. 

 

Ken has worked in the private equity and advisory industry for virtually his entire career, having served as a principal and/or advisor to private and public companies and funds in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and North America. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance and Political Science from the University of Utah. He also holds a Master of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor from the University of Utah. We believe that Ken is well-qualified to serve on the combined board due to his extensive international legal and corporate governance background, as well as his financial services and investment experience.

Stuart Adam

Principal and Co-Founder

In addition to his role as Principal at Outsize Capital, Stuart is a founder of City & Westminster Corporate Finance LLP, an independent corporate finance and business advisory firm authorised and regulated by the FCA which he owns jointly with John May.  He is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience across a wide range of clients and industries in both public and private sectors, including several publicly listed companies, providing commercial and corporate advice, leverage on growth strategy, audit, accounting and financial reporting services, and implementing procedures, processes, compliance and controls.

 

Within City & Westminster he supervises on a diverse range of corporate finance transactions and acts as Compliance and Money Laundering Officer.

 

Stuart is also a director of several companies and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Rory Bowen

Principal

Rory is an experienced corporate finance executive with a strong background in strategy, operations, and leadership within public and private companies. With experience in high-impact roles, Rory has successfully supported senior executives, founders, and entrepreneurs in managing complex organisational structures and executing strategic priorities. Throughout a career that began in traditional finance, Rory has demonstrated a passion for helping executives unlock their full potential, driving operational excellence and aligning business goals across diverse sectors.

 

A significant part of Rory’s expertise lies in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and facilitating strategic partnerships with key stakeholders. Leveraging a global network of government officials, industry leaders, and investors, Rory has led international projects across sectors such as Financial Services, FinTech, AgriTech, and commodities. In previous roles, Rory played a vital role in securing investment, leading cross-functional teams, and spearheading product development initiatives.

 

Recent leadership roles include consulting for Innovation Agritech Group and Society Financial, where Rory advised on capital raising, strategic planning, and international expansion. Additionally, Rory was instrumental in the development of the UK's largest FinTech network, building strategic relationships with government and private entities alike.
